Today’s update improves the behavior of Google calendars shared as free/busy: they’ll now show as read-only events. This update also improves the folder selection behavior in the left-hand sidebar. Folders will now show their blue selected state when they are expanded and collapsed.
We’ve changed the way you filter and assign resources when editing events. These changes make it much easier for folks who are assigning multiple resources to the same event, especially if they are arranging their views by one kind of resource (rooms, for example) and assigning a different kind of resource when editing events (like assigning staff). Michael uploaded a new extension allowing you to reorder items in the unscheduled list using drag and drop. It’s easy to add to your DayBack, requiring just one new field in your record to store the new sort value.
This update improves the selection and assignment of resources when editing events. When editing an event and assigning a resource, searching the resource list in the popover drawer will now search across ALL resources instead of having your search confined to the resources filtered in DayBack’s left-hand sidebar. DayBack also now understands that you may include URLs in the event’s location field and improves URL detection so it now detects URLs on paste and not just while typing.
This is mostly an under-the-hood update that removes tracking in Mixpanel and adds configuration errors and slow query warning tracking in DayBack itself. This update also adds the “className” property to the unscheduled event list, making those easier to style and address in Before Event Rendered Actions.

This update adds URL support in the location field including the ability to click the icon to navigate to that URL. It also adds the ability to click the map marker icon to go directly to the map for addresses in the location field. This update also resolves an issue when unchecking the repeating event option for Google events wouldn’t update the view, and could create a duplicate event.
