Today’s update to Beta brings new version notifications and a faster first load to DayBack. Changes include:
- A service worker caching the calendar’s application code
- New loading animations (these can be hidden using URL parameters)
- Explicit notices if users try to load the calendar when offline
- A new smaller payload of DayBack’s application code
- Notices in DayBack’s “three dots” menu now let users know if they are up to date or if there is a new version waiting for them to reload the calendar.
Beta now includes the July 20 custom actions refactor and these speed improvements, though these will likely be deployed to production separately. The custom action refactor is scheduled to go live on the morning of August 6th.
