DayBack Beta: New App Action “On Startup” and GeoCode Fixes

Adds a new app action “On Startup”. This app action runs before all others and will be a great place to run custom code that isn’t attached to a specific activity but needs to run at the beginning of loading. This also fixes an issue when routing with map actions when the geocode field is mapped to a text field.

Event Resizing Improvements, New App Action, and More

This update adds the ability to resize events from the left side. This allows you to adjust the start time of an event by dragging. A new app action allows you to run custom code when enabling or disabling Draft Mode in admin settings. CSS improvements were made to the chart in analytics allowing you to better target the chart based on the resource being shown. This update also adds a fix for a bug in the Safari web browser that would prevent events from clearing from the calendar when navigating dates in certain circumstances.

New CSS Classing Added to Calendars in Sidebar

You can now target individual calendars or calendar source types with CSS in the sidebar based on their name. The classes for the source type will show up as “dbk-st-Google-Calendar” for example. Each calendar will also have a class based on it’s name with special characters removed. This may appear like “dbk-cl-My-Calendar” for example.

Fixed Small HTML Formatting Issue

In resource schedule view there was a bug preventing the ability to target the calendar grid cells based on date or resource name due to a formatting issue. This has now been resolved.

New App Action Helper and Bug Fix

Today’s update adds a new app action helper function dbk.updateEditEvent(). It also resolves an issue that could lead to the loading image remaining if there was a Before Calendar Rendered action set to Prevent Default and action.callbacks.cancel() was used.

Events Rendering and Calendars Fetched Bug Fix

Today’s update resolves an issue where events could render in incorrect positions in some rare circumstances when loading with the sidebar closed. It also resolves and issue where changing the calendar selection state in an “On Calendars Fetched” app action would update the selection state in the sidebar but the calendar would not retrieve events for that calendar.

Location Field Now Supports URLs & Google Bug Fixes

This update adds URL support in the location field including the ability to click the icon to navigate to that URL. It also adds the ability to click the map marker icon to go directly to the map for addresses in the location field. This update also resolves an issue when unchecking the repeating event option for Google events wouldn’t update the view, and could create a duplicate event.
